What happened

The starting photograph is Bill Anders' Earthrise from Apollo 8: the Earth, half lit, rising over the grey horizon of the Moon.

The words "Earth" and "Moon" never appear. The describing prompt forbids naming specific places, and the model counted both as places. From the first round on, the picture is "a small blue-and-white sphere" above "a pale-gray surface".

By round 2 the sphere has grown into a large blue globe, and at round 3 it is "a pale-blue circular body". From round 4 it is a flat disc. The clouds go, and the grey lunar surface becomes a thin brown band.

From round 5 on it is a poster: a plain pale-blue circle over a red-brown stripe on black. The descriptions settled by round 11. The circle slowly darkens to slate grey, and nothing else happens.

This was the first run with auto-stop. It stopped at round 32, for 43 cents.
